This Small Group Opens in September with the Prophets & Promises Series Hello Vintage Church Families! We are the Perez’s. We’ve been members of this church since 2018 and thanks to the military, that’s how we got here all the way from Georgia! Although we are a military family, we have felt very called to lead a small group, regardless of whether your family has any military affiliation or not. We believe that God has called us to shepherd one another because life was never meant to be walked alone. In every season, whether joyful or challenging, we are reminded in Scripture that we are stronger together, encouraging each other in faith, accountability, and love. Our heart is to create a safe place where families can grow closer to Christ and to one another. Our group will meet in our home on Fort Hood, so you will need a Military ID or Visitors pass to attend our group. We are currently working on securing child care. In the meantime, children are absolutely welcome to attend, but we ask that our group work together in caring for them throughout our gatherings

Charlie is retired from commercial construction and Debi is retired from healthcare. They love traveling and their favorite place to visit is the Smoky Mountains. They have a mutual passion for ministering to people who are disregarded by the world. Bringing people to a saving knowledge of and personal relationship with Jesus is their primary goal. Our group consists of adults of all ages so we aren't set up for childcare.

Dean and Danielle Ross have been part of Vintage Church since January 2025. We are parents to seven children: three adult sons, three teen/tween daughters, and one 8-year-old. Our home is full of life, and we are opening it up to help the next generation grow in their faith. One of our deepest convictions is that God designed faith to be passed down and lived out within families. We long to see parents and teens growing closer to Jesus together—not just side-by-side in the same room, but truly sharing the journey: talking about Scripture, wrestling with real-life questions, praying for one another, and discovering how God’s Word applies to both generations. That’s why this group is built around one simple requirement: a parent (or guardian) joins their 6th–12th grade student each week. Our time together will tie back to Sunday’s message, helping students deepen their love for and understanding of the Bible while giving parents and teens intentional space to strengthen their spiritual bond and draw nearer to God as a family. Our daughter Natalie, who is currently serving alongside Dean in Church Leadership College, may at times lead the teens in a dedicated time for sharing prayer requests and praying together. This will give students a comfortable space to open up with peers while parents remain close by. Meeting Details: Saturdays at our home 3:00 pm – Doors open for light conversation and potluck-style snacks (bring something simple to share if you’d like—we’ll have coffee available!) Structured Bible study and discussion roughly 3:30–5:00 pm We’ll wrap up formally around 5:00 pm, but there’s no rush to leave—feel free to stay and visit longer if it works for your family. Once a month we’ll extend the time for a full potluck dinner and extra fellowship together. Since we meet in our home, space is limited, and because our primary focus is on fostering meaningful teen/parent discussion and connection, we are not currently able to offer supervised childcare. That is when they became part of the Vintage Church Family and their daughter-in-law, Morgan Elpin, joined Vintage and works at Vintage Christian Academy. They love living in Copperas Cove and are excited about the opportunity to makes some friends in the Cove Community. Their small group will meet every Friday night from 6-7:30pm. During your time together, the group will go through the current Vintage series guide, have group discussion and prayer, and of course refreshments! Children are welcome. If you request to join the group, I will send you a link to join our GroupMe chat where we send weekly updates. No childcare is provided for this group at this time.
