Who we are
This website, vintage.church, belongs to Vintage Church Texas, Inc., one church with locations across Central Texas. When this page says "we," it means the church.
You can reach us at hello@vintage.church, by phone at 254-415-9491, or by mail at 171 W FM 3219, Harker Heights, TX 76548.
What this site collects, and why
You can read every page of this site without telling us who you are. There are no accounts and no logins.
To learn how the site gets used, we count visits: which pages people read, which buttons they tap, which messages they play, roughly where they are (a city or region, never an address), and what kind of device and browser they use. We use those counts to fix what is confusing and to keep the site fast. They do not tell us your name.
Before a visit is counted, we strip what follows the "?" in a web address, where a search or a mistyped link can carry an email or a name, and keep only the campaign tags that say which email or post sent you. When you search the site, we count the words you searched, with any email address or phone number taken out first.
The site also remembers a few things in your own browser so it works the way you left it, such as the Vintage location you picked as home. Those are kept in your browser and never used to identify you.
Cookies and your choices
A cookie is a small file a website keeps in your browser. A few are needed for the site to work, such as the one that remembers your cookie choices. The rest are optional, and you decide.
If you are visiting from the European Union, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, nothing optional runs until you say yes. Everywhere else, they start on and you can turn them off at any time.
Tap Your Privacy Choices at the bottom of any page to see what is on and change it. Turning analytics off stops PostHog at once, tells Google Analytics to stop recognizing your browser, and deletes the cookies both of them set.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to opt out: advertising stays off, and for visitors from the European Union, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, analytics stays off too.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser's settings. The site still works without them.
How we measure the site
Google Analytics counts visits and the buttons people tap. It runs in Google's Consent Mode: while analytics is off it sets no cookies and sends Google only basic signals with nothing that identifies your browser. When analytics is on, it sets cookies whose names start with _ga, so it can tell a returning visitor from a new one.
PostHog shows us how people move through the site, so we can see where they get stuck. It loads only while analytics is on. It records page views and taps, and it can replay a visit as a rough recording of the screen with everything typed into a box hidden. It never records the give page. Its cookies start with ph_.
Vercel Web Analytics counts page views for every visitor, without cookies and without anything that identifies you.
CookieYes runs the cookie banner. It remembers your choice in a cookie of its own and keeps a record that you made it, not linked to your name.
The services behind the site
Vercel hosts the site. Like any web host, it sees the address of the device asking for a page so it can send the page back.
Supabase holds the site's database: its pages, events, messages and photos. It stores nothing about visitors.
Planning Center runs our forms, event registrations and kids check-in, on Church Center. The Plan Your Visit form opens over this site, but it is Planning Center's form.
Pushpay handles giving. Your payment details go straight to Pushpay; this website never receives them.
YouTube plays our messages and the Sunday stream. A video loads from YouTube only when you press play; until then the site shows a picture and nothing from YouTube runs.
Spotify carries our podcasts. On the messages page each one plays in Spotify's own player, which sets Spotify's cookies, so it appears only once you allow functional cookies; until then a link takes you to Spotify instead.
Each location has its own Facebook and Instagram pages. Those links take you to Facebook or Instagram, under their own policies.
Forms and giving
Every form on this site, every event registration and every gift happens on Planning Center or Pushpay, and their own privacy policies cover what you send them. This website never stores what you type there.
We use what you send through Planning Center to care for you: to welcome you before your first Sunday, to hold your place at an event, and to stay in touch. Your giving record lives in Pushpay, which is how we send your year-end giving statement.
Children
This website is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. Kids check-in on Sunday happens in Planning Center, not on this site.
If you think a child has sent us information through the site, write to hello@vintage.church and we will delete it.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us what we hold about you, and ask us to correct it or delete it. Write to hello@vintage.church and we will answer within a month.
If you are in the European Union, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, data protection law also gives you the right to object to how we use your information, to limit it, to take a copy with you, and to withdraw your consent at any time through Your Privacy Choices. We rely on your consent for analytics, and on our legitimate interest in running the church's website for everything else. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
How long we keep it
Google Analytics keeps visit data for 14 months, then deletes it. PostHog keeps replays for up to 30 days and other usage data for up to a year.
Your cookie choice is remembered for a year. After that, the banner asks again.
What we never do
We never sell your information, and we never share it with anyone for their own marketing. This site carries no advertising.
Changes to this policy
When this policy changes, we will update it here and change the date below.
This version took effect on October 6, 2026.
