A small group meeting around a living room

Small Groups

We find belonging through connection with others and it is through these relationships that true life-change happens.

What it is

What a Small Group is

Small Groups meet all across our region and are an opportunity for us to gather together and talk about how to apply the weekly message to our lives.

Groups meet through the week near each of our locations. Narrow by location, day, or who the group is for, then open the group to ask to join.

Meets weekly on Saturdays from 3-5pm

    Belton

Dean and Danielle Ross have been part of Vintage Church since January 2025. We are parents to seven children: three adult sons, three teen/tween daughters, and one 8-year-old. Our home is full of life, and we are opening it up to help the next generation grow in their faith. One of our deepest convictions is that God designed faith to be passed down and lived out within families. We long to see parents and teens growing closer to Jesus together—not just side-by-side in the same room, but truly sharing the journey: talking about Scripture, wrestling with real-life questions, praying for one another, and discovering how God’s Word applies to both generations. That’s why this group is built around one simple requirement: a parent (or guardian) joins their 6th–12th grade student each week. Our time together will tie back to Sunday’s message, helping students deepen their love for and understanding of the Bible while giving parents and teens intentional space to strengthen their spiritual bond and draw nearer to God as a family. Our daughter Natalie, who is currently serving alongside Dean in Church Leadership College, may at times lead the teens in a dedicated time for sharing prayer requests and praying together. This will give students a comfortable space to open up with peers while parents remain close by. Meeting Details: Saturdays at our home 3:00 pm – Doors open for light conversation and potluck-style snacks (bring something simple to share if you’d like—we’ll have coffee available!) Structured Bible study and discussion roughly 3:30–5:00 pm We’ll wrap up formally around 5:00 pm, but there’s no rush to leave—feel free to stay and visit longer if it works for your family. Once a month we’ll extend the time for a full potluck dinner and extra fellowship together. Since we meet in our home, space is limited, and because our primary focus is on fostering meaningful teen/parent discussion and connection, we are not currently able to offer supervised childcare. We’d love for you and your teen to join us in this unique opportunity to grow together in Christ! Feel free to reach out with any questions. Dean & Danielle Ross

    Bertram · Liberty Hill

Hi, we are Joshua and Lauren Welch! We have three kids: Christin (19) who lives in Waco, Matt (16), and Coltin (14). We moved to Texas Christmas of 2024. For Josh and the kids, this is their first time living in Texas. Lauren is a Texas native and is happy to be back! Our small group will be a group of ONLYS. We will be the only group west (in Bertram), AND the only group meeting on Saturday evenings. We hope you will join us to start the weekend off right! All ages are welcome and childcare is available.

Host a group

A host opens their home, presses play on the discussion guide, and lets the conversation happen. You do not have to be a teacher.

Each location trains and supports its own hosts. Tell us which location you call home and we will connect you with the person who runs groups there.
