Leading Change is a leadership small group designed to help you practically apply the Biblical principles from the book, “Lasting Change: A Systematic Approach To The Christian Life” by Stephen Martin, to your development as a leader in your local church. The skills you will learn will serve as a catalyst for leadership development in every arena of influence

 In the Leading Change Small Group Study, you will learn how to think about leadership from a Biblical worldview.

In this small group study, you will:

·      Learn how to think Biblically about leading others

·      Create a plan for sustained leadership development

·      Implement practices that will expand your influence

SESSION ONE
Character & Accountability

Everyone has character. The question is “Is our character strong enough to sustain the life we want?”. In this session, you will learn about character as a foundation for your life and leadership as well as the role of accountability in personal growth and development. 

SESSION TWO
Calling & Effectiveness

You were created by God on purpose and for His purpose. In this session, we will explore what that looks like from a Biblical perspective and how understanding your calling allows you to live a life of great effectiveness and fulfillment. 

SESSION THREE
Competency & Confidence


Competency is defined as the combination of observable and measurable knowledge, skills, abilities, and personal attributes that contribute to performance and success.  In this session, we will discuss how God has not only called you to do things but to do them well. 

SESSION FOUR
Culture & Attitude

Culture is all about what we value and how we express those values in our life and leadership. The outcome is an attitude that wins or loses. In this session we will look at what a Kingdom Attitude looks like according to Jesus. 

SESSION FIVE
Servant Leadership

The greatest need in our world is leadership and Jesus teaches us that the greatest leader the servant to all. In this session, we will shift from our personal leadership to how we practically use our influence as Christians to lead like Jesus. 

SESSION SIX
Conflict Resolution

Because we live in a broken world, conflict is everywhere; at work, at home, at church and in every other area and segment of our society. In this session, you’re going to how to resolve conflict Biblically and discover conflict navigated well, lowers your stress and dramatically improves your life and multiplies your leadership. 

SESSION SEVEN
Process Power

When you read the book of Proverbs, Solomon teaches us that there are three kinds of people: the fool, the simple and the wise. He then admonishes us to be wise and shows us how. In this session, we are going to learn a framework from the Book of Proverbs for how to process life’s challenges as we grow wiser in every season. 

SESSION EIGHT
Moving People

God uses us to serve others with our influence and leadership. In this final session, we learn how to systematically move people toward God’s purpose for their life and in doing so discover a lasting fulfillment that the world can’t offer.
