This summer, we’re heading into the wild —

not just to get away, but to meet with God in the places we need Him most.

Through powerful worship, biblical teaching, tribe competitions, and unforgettable activities, students will discover that the wilderness isn’t punishment — it’s preparation. From the stories of Moses, Elijah, Gideon, and more, we’ll see how God shows up when we’re tired, unsure, or running on empty.

Students will be placed in tribes for the week to compete in Tribal Wars, connect through small groups, and grow in faith together. With pool time, ziplining, horseback riding, color powder shenanigans, night games, and campfire devotionals, every moment is designed to help students build lasting memories and deeper faith.

Each day will challenge them to take personal steps in their walk with Jesus — not just at camp, but in everyday life.

The cost is $480 and includes lodging, meals, and all activities. A $30 deposit secures your spot, and discounts are available through discipleship courses, fundraisers, and more. Fundraisers and family discounts make it even easier to attend. Don’t miss this chance to step out of the ordinary and into the wild — where God meets us, shapes us, and sends us out different than we came.

Services
You can expect amazing worship, practical and relevant teaching, and fun in-service games. Each message aligns with the teaching series and acts as a springboard for deeper conversation during Small Groups & personal Reflect & Write time.

Tribal Wars
Upon arrival at summer camp, students will be assigned to small groups called “tribes”. These tribes will participate in Tribal Wars (large group games, recreation) and Small Group discussions together, functioning as a team. Throughout the week, each tribe will be earning points and competing for a prize to be awarded at the end of camp.

Small Groups
Upon arrival, students will receive a Camp workbook that contains content needed for Small Groups and taking notes during services. During Small Groups, students will be encouraged to engage in a discussion using questions from the workbook, as well as take time to personally Reflect and Write.

Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
All meals will be provided by Camp Buckner. Students are welcome to keep bring snacks or candy to store in their cabin. Camp Buckner can meet various allergy specifications and requirements, as requested.

Activities and Recreation
The camp schedule is packed with fun activities and games. From getting launched into a lake from a Blob to team-building activities and low ropes, there are plenty of opportunities for students to have a blast alongside their peers. Other recreational activities include pool time, campfires, volleyball, basketball, ping-pong, gaga-ball, tether-ball, and so much more.

Hangtime
Students and leaders will be traveling and moving “non-stop” between activities. Hangtime provides students with an opportunity to play card games, on-site games, talk one-on-one with a leader, or take a much-needed nap.

Pool & Lake
Summer camp includes time spent in the sun at the pool and the lake. All students will be given the chance to try “the Blob,” a giant inflatable that launches students into the lake. The Camp Buckner pool includes a diving board and volleyball, as well as plenty of shallow room for casual swimming. Certified lifeguards will be present for both activities.

  • Summer Camp will be hosted at Camp Buckner in Burnet, TX. Please plan to drop-off your student between 5:00pm-6:00pm.

3835 Ranch to Market Rd 2342, Burnet, TX 78611

Upon entry onto the Camp Buckner property, you’ll follow our Vintage Students signage until you arrive at the Faith Hall Auditorium!

  • If your student opt’d-in for the Bus Transportation option, please arrive at your church location between 3:00pm-3:45pm on Sunday July 12th. At the location, please walk in with your student to check them in and turn in paperwork/medications.

    - Vintage Church, Belton (4343 FM-93, Temple, TX, 76502)

  • The deadline for students to register for Summer Camp is June 12th, 2026 (one month before camp). All forms must be completed at this time as well.

The total cost to attend Summer Camp 2026 is $480, per student. Upon registration, parents must pay a deposit of $30. This deposit will officially lock a student’s spot at camp.

Making Payments Towards Camp
Once a student is registered for camp, payments towards their remaining balance can be made anytime using a payment link sent via email. This allows families to finance and schedule payments over 2-3 months rather than making one large sum payment.

Discipleship Discount
A discount is awarded to students who have completed and graduated from the 2:52 Student Discipleship Course, as well as other courses offered at each location.

Family Discount
For families with multiple students, it can be challenging to commit to sending them to camp. That is why we offer a Family Discount for parents with more than one student attending summer camp. Here’s how this discount breaks down:

1st Student - Full Cost
2nd Student - $25 off
3rd Student - $50 off
4th Student - $75 off
5th Student - $100 off

Summer Camp serves as an opportunity for students to step out of their normal routine and into an environment that challenges them to grow closer to Jesus. Incoming 6th-grade students through graduating high school seniors are invited to attend. *The first 100 students to register will receive a free Camp T-Shirt!*

There are several creative and practical ways for a 6th-12th grade student to raise funds for attending a summer camp at Vintage Church with self-initiative and parental support. There is significance in challenging students to "put their hands to the plow” and learn to work diligently towards a goal. Here are some options:

Craft Sales: Students can create and sell handmade items like jewelry, keychains, or custom artwork. These can be sold to friends and family, or at local events with a booth.

Service Offerings: Offer services such as pet-sitting, lawn mowing, dog walking, or tutoring for younger children. Parents can help by spreading the word to neighbors and friends.

Crowdfunding: Set up a crowdfunding campaign on platforms like GoFundMe, explaining the camp’s purpose and why it's important. Share the link on social media!

Recycling Drive: Collect recyclables from the community and turn them in for cash. This can be an ongoing project until the goal is reached.

Reading or Exercise Challenge: Get pledges from family and friends for each book read or mile run over a month, turning personal goals into fundraising opportunities.

Personalized Gifts: Create personalized gifts for holidays or special occasions like Christmas or Valentine's Day and sell them.

Bake Sale: Organize a bake sale at community events or school sports games. Homemade cookies, brownies, and cakes usually sell well.

Firework Stand Fundraiser: All Vintage Church students have an opportunity to fundraise by serving at our local Firework Stand (one in Harker Heights, one in Liberty Hill). Students and parents can sign-up for shifts to work the stand, sell fireworks, and chip away $$ off their summer camp balance.

The stand operates around New Years (December 20-January 1) & July 4th (June 25-July 4).

We have many students that want to attend camp, but can’t afford it. That’s where the church can step in. If you’d like to sponsor a student's ticket to camp, 25%, half cost, or a full ride, head over to the website and give today. Sow into the next generation and make a difference by giving to the Missions & Outreach Fund!
